Lighthouse Parent/Child Application

The Lighthouse program offers play-based learning and community building, facilitated by an experienced early childhood educator. Classes meet once a week in one of our beautiful classroom. It is an opportunity for parents to come together with their child to learn lullabies, language games and songs.

Connection

Parents spend time together each week, observing the children and sharing experiences; often finding support and friendship amongst their peers.

The program provides opportunities to ask questions and learn more about child development, Waldorf education and other topics related to parenting a young child.

Schedule

The morning schedule holds moments for quiet and space for activity. Children delight in coming together with the group to sing songs and play lap games. A simple snack is offered with warm tea. Occasionally, seasonal crafts are offered. The group ends its time together with a walk on our grounds.
