2026 SUMMER CAMPS

EARLY CHILDHOOD CAMPS

During the summer, Seacoast Waldorf School offers 6 week-long camp programs for children who love spending their summer days outdoors among our 5 acres of meadows, forest, and playground. Summer camps include age-appropriate activities in a natural setting, with a mix of teacher-led and child-directed supervised play. Summer camps are open to students who do not attend Seacoast Waldorf School.

GRADE-LEVEL CAMPS

Earth, Air, Fire, Water Camp

(rising Grade 2-5)

$340 Full Day

June 15 - 18 (No Camp 6/19)

We will spend an exciting week exploring the four basic elements found in nature.  We'll use microscopes, magnifiers, binoculars, and our own eyes to help us discover the sky, land and water around the Seacoast Waldorf School.  We will use the power of observation to discover how the plants, animals, and insects on our campus make their homes, what they eat, and how they behave and grow.  The week will include science experiments, nature exploration, crafts, and games.

Woodworking Camp

(rising Grade 4-8)

$340 Full Day

June 15 - 18 (No Camp 6/19)

In this hands-on woodcarving camp, students in grades 4 through 8 will work with natural wood to create simple, meaningful forms using age-appropriate tools and techniques. Guided by Waldorf principles, the camp emphasizes respect for materials, rhythmic work, and the development of patience, focus, and confidence.

Theater Camp

(rising Grade 4-8)

$425 Full Day (+$10 materials fee)

June 22 - 26

Experience Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book as you never have before!  We will bring this classic story to life on the stage in only one week, with families invited to see our performance on the final day!  Students will learn acting and improvisational techniques, design costumes, set and props, and will have the thrill of learning and performing a play in only a week’s time.  We hope you join us!

Upcycled & Recycled Art Camp

(rising Grade 2-8)

$425 Full Day

July 6 - 10

Second Chance Studio: Upcycled & Recycled Art Camp invites children to explore creativity and imagination by transforming everyday recycled materials into meaningful works of art. Campers will engage in a mix of longer-term projects and daily art explorations, including sculpture, printmaking, collage, and mixed-media creations, with an emphasis on process, experimentation, and self-expression rather than perfection. Each day includes time for movement, outdoor breaks, guided art-making, and open-ended “maker” time, and the week will conclude with a joyful art show where families are invited to celebrate the children’s creativity together

Circus Camp
