Kate Hopkins | Periwinkle Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Kate Hopkins has lived in the seacoast area her whole life. She received her BA in family studies and M.Ed in elementary education from UNH. Kate taught Kindergarten and preschool in the public sector until having her 1st child in 2013. After having her daughter Kate found Seacoast Waldorf school and worked as an assistant in the nursery classrooms for many years. Kate took a couple of years off and is back at SWS and thrilled to be in the Periwinkle Kindergarten.

Kate lives in Southern Maine with her husband and 2 daughters. She enjoys knitting, reading, and spending time outside with her family.
